The company combines different types of dance, combining technical performance and modern expression. Its aim is to open up to a wide audience so that every emotion and every story can be recognised and fully experienced.
In September 2019, Anaïs joins the B&M Compagnie. She then danced various pieces from Manon Bastardie's repertoire: Horizons, Tchaikovsky, Give up, Silence, If I loose you.

Her experience of working with young people means that she plays a key role. Her open-mindedness and willingness to take care of and advise these young artists make her an essential part of our young company's teaching team.
Manon Bastardie, choreographer of the B&M Compagnie, brings a fresh, young and innovative approach to neo-classical and contemporary dance. With her experience from the age of 19 in one of the world's leading dance companies, she has a less violent approach that is closer to her dancers. The young woman, full of energy and ambition, seems to have a gift for artistic creation, having started choreographing her own solos at the age of 17. Filled with new ideas and inspiration, she embarked on the B&M Compagnie.
His creations are composed of contemporary as well as classical and neo-classical elements: multidisciplinarity being the greatest ally of our language.
Born in Albi, she began dancing at the age of 5 and left her home town at 13 to join the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de danse de Marseille. There she studied for three years with a special timetable, before joining the VM Ballet in Toulouse, where the stage is the main focus. She obtained her first professional contract at the young age of 19 with the Ballet National de Marseille under the direction of Emio Greco and Peter Scholten. During her two years there, she met a large number of important figures in the world of dance (former dancers with great choreographers such as W. Forsyth and A. Preljocaj). She also had the chance to dance many roles in corps de ballet and as a soloist in creations by Emio Greco and Peter Scholten ("le corps du ballet national de Marseille", "extremalism", "momentum", "bolero", "pointless".

This has left her with a strong taste for eclecticism and diversity - she loves exploring different worlds (especially musical ones) and mixing dance with other disciplines, especially singing and theatre.
A choreographer for operas and other musical performances for over 10 years, she made her first solo creation with Patchwork, which premiered in 2017 at the Café de la Danse in Paris: an ensemble of several pieces for 9 dancers, each lasting 20-25 minutes.

In the programme of Solos and Duos created in 2020, a lyric singer accompanies one of the dancers to the music of Casta Diva.
In the 2021 creation, La Reine Transparente, this opera singer and a cellist will accompany the 6 dancers.
This summer's programme includes a Mozart Requiem performed by 6 dancers and a string quartet.
Choreography has always been an obvious choice for Estelle, and her career as a performer has enabled her to shape her own language: instinctive, fluid movement with a contemporary energy (while retaining a neoclassical aesthetic in the lines, musicality and relationship with the audience). Emotion is at the heart of her work. For Estelle, the important thing is "to transcribe an emotion through movement, to let feelings come to us that are sometimes buried beneath the surface, and to tell them in space. The language doesn't matter, the technique doesn't matter, what counts is the intention, the story, the experience! What counts is the dance and the dancer. At that precise moment when he gives himself up without modesty, everything else is irrelevant.
The dancers are very important to Estelle, because it is through them that the choreography takes on its full meaning. Thanks to the mix of solid classical training and varied experience of her dancers, she can move away from academicism and bring them into her own language.
