The new Lyra By Gaynor Minden pointe shoe is made using a completely new, more flexible construction method with a very high quality Italian satin specially designed for dance, which allows the foot to roll along smoothly and gives a high half pointe.
Flexibility and flow are enhanced by a vegan outsole.
The tip is wrapped in soft nubuck.
The Lyra Sculpted model has a tapered 8 shape tightened in the middle of the foot for a perfect fit.

In 1993, Gaynor Minden revolutionised the manufacture of pointe shoes using innovative materials and techniques. Dance pointe shoes Gaynor Minden are reputed to last much longer than traditional pointe shoes. The polymers used in both the sole and the box mean that the ballet shoes are both flexible and very comfortable, but also hard-wearing.
This dance shoe is unique in that it doesn't warp like pointe shoes made from traditional materials. The pre-cambered sole makes these shoes a pair of dance-ready pointe shoes. The elasticated drawstring adjusts at the side of the heel to avoid damaging the foot as it passes through the half-point.
