Wear Moi is a French brand was founded in 1992 by Christophe and Élisabeth Ridet, both from the world of dance. Initially specialising in the design of dancewear, the brand quickly established itself internationally.
In 1996, Wear Moi began exporting to Japan, marking the start of its global expansion. The brand's reputation grew in the 2000s with the introduction of a range of slippers and the opening of its first shop in Toulon in 2006. In 2010, it took a new step forward with the launch of its online shop.
A pioneer in innovation, Wear Moi developed its first range of pointe shoes in 2011 and opened its own factory in Tunisia to control manufacturing.
