First of all, equip yourself with a invisible elastic Bachca Paris to secure your bun. These invisible elastics leave no marks and won't damage your hair thanks to the even pressure they exert.
Next, make sure you haveCapezio bun pins to hold the bun in place. These top-of-the-range pins, in gold and ivory, are hidden in the dancer's hair.
Use a bun net the colour of your hair to hold it all together. Bunheads By Capezio bunnets are available in three shades.
You can use flat clips for small strands that stick out.
To detangle your hair, choose a detangling and smoothing wooden brush. The nylon bristles of the Bachca Paris wooden brush have the advantage of reducing static electricity. On the other hand, the boar bristles enhance your hair's shine.
Don't forget to take a comb if you need to make a parting.
Finally, use hairspray to set your style.
The first step is to detangle your hair to make styling easier, using a wooden detangling and smoothing brush. This will make it easier to achieve your chignon.
For thick or wavy hair, use a spray bottle of water to lighten the mass. For fine hair, use hairspray.
The second step is to create a ponytail. This must be tight so that the bun doesn't move while you're practising your Art.
Next, smooth the hair well with a brush so that nothing sticks out. The hair should be well pulled back, clean and shiny.
Then spray the hair with hairspray for the first time. Next, tie the ponytail and tighten the elastic. To finish, spray with hairspray again and brush through the hair. It's important to know that you can also make your ponytail parted, although you don't have to.
The third step is to create the ballet bun. To do this, take your ponytail and start twisting it, but don't make it too tight.
Then continue to roll the ponytail around your head, keeping the bun in place.
For the fourth step, place 2 or 3 bobby pins, in the colour of your hair, at the end of the ponytail and on the opposite side of the ponytail to hold the bun in place.
For the fifth step, take the bun net and wrap it around the bun. You can fold the net over on itself several times to obtain a tightly held bun. To do this, start by placing it at the bottom of the bun, cross it over and then fold the net from the bottom to the top.
Start by removing the pins, then flatten the bun with the back of the brush.
Next, place pins around the bun. Place them perpendicular to the head and stick them into the centre of the bun.
To finish, spray with hairspray to set it all in place, then brush the hair towards the bun to smooth it out.
