Artiligne was born of a friendship between Cécile Philipps and Estelle Derouet. Cécile was a dance teacher and Estelle the mother of two promising gymnasts, including Danaé Collard, who later joined the French rhythmic gymnastics team. Passionate about artistic sports, they decided to create a range of clothing adapted to the practice of these disciplines. To achieve this, they called on Céline Lafaye, a professional stylist, who joined the venture. It was she who would breathe life into the brand's DNA. Together they designed a collection inspired by the codes of dance and rhythmic gymnastics.
